Back in 2011, I took an anatomy course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome as a part of my MA in painting. This course was about monsters' anatomy in the history of art. We had an assignment to design a monster character. My very first imagination of a monster was my school's staff when I was a little girl! So I illustrated my experiences, like taking a pair of red shoes from a little girl and cutting a little girl's hair because it was not completely covered by her scarf! For me, school in Iran was a place without joy, color, and happiness.
